Do you think there is any reason that this book shouldn't have been banned?

Book banning

Do you know what I'm going to do next saturday? This is a title of a Dr. Seuss book. The author of the book was Helen Palmer, who was Dr. Seuss's first wife. This book was banned mostly because of its dangerous pursuits that it showed. In some of the pictures they showed the little kid using guns that the U.S. marines provided for him to use.

The author of the book took her life in 1967. You could tell she wanted to kill herself because the book had many suicidal ideas like, "Im going to blow my head off!" Kind of obvious. The book was banned sometime in the 1950's. At first the story seems to be about a cool kid who is going to do some really cool stuff on saturday. It is actually about guns and suicide.
